The hackathon organized by Opalia Recordati provided an exceptional opportunity to bring our “Refresh Purpose” objective to life, encouraging young students to unleash their creativity and potential to transform the chemotherapy experience for cancer patients. The event aimed to reinvent and digitize the patient journey, combining technological innovation with human-centered solutions.
More than 50 students participated, divided into 10 dynamic teams, each developing an innovative digital solution to improve patient monitoring and comfort. After weeks of preparation, the teams presented 10 pitches to a jury of experts, demonstrating ingenuity, critical thinking, and empathy. Three teams stood out for the relevance, feasibility, and potential impact of their projects, receiving special recognition for their contribution to innovation in healthcare.
This initiative perfectly illustrates Opalia Recordati Tunisia’s commitment to social innovation and the active participation of young talent in projects with high added value for the community. Thanks to their enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, the students showed that young people can be a real driving force for transformation and improvement in patient well-being.
Through this hackathon, Opalia Recordati confirms its commitment to promoting digital innovation in healthcare, while placing the patient at the heart of every project, and strengthening its role as a committed player in transforming the medical landscape in Tunisia.
