OPALIA Pharma is considered one of the leading generic drug manufacturers in Tunisia since 1988. For 35 years, Opalia Recordati has established itself as a pioneer in the pharmaceutical industry, entering the African market in 1993 and marking an international presence in over 25 countries across Africa and the Middle East.
Since 2013, the RECORDATI Group entered by acquiring 90% of OPALIA Pharma’s capital, thus becoming OPALIA RECORDATI, its subsidiary in Tunisia and the only one in Africa.
Founded in 1926 and headquartered in Milan, Italy, RECORDATI is an international pharmaceutical company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of medicines. Present in over 150 countries, RECORDATI focuses mainly on therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular diseases, central nervous system disorders, and rare diseases. RECORDATI is recognized for its global presence, pursuit of excellence, and commitment to innovation.
